From a small town in Missouri to a global stage, Clioh's journey is one of resilience, determination, and a burning desire to make a difference. Overcoming adversity has fueled her artistry, resulting in music that resonates with authenticity and hope—a mission that finds its heart at Stella Studios, Clioh's label, named in honor of her first child, after a vivid dream in the early months of her pregnancy where she first met Stella. With 12,037 Spotify playlistings and a TikTok creator reach surpassing 2.18 million, Clioh's music has touched hearts around the world, even gracing the airwaves of Amsterdam's 'Red Light Jazz Radio' and Budapest's 'Jazzy Grove.' Clioh sees music as a powerful tool. This journey gains more depth when understanding that "pure," the very meaning of Clioh Starr's given name, is derived from the concept of "catharsis" (a profound emotional release and cleansing). That brings us to 'Time to Thrive'. This album isn't just a collection of songs; it's a catalyst, just as Stella, and later to come, also her daughter Clíódhna (Epiphaní) and her son Cían. It's about creating a future where her family thrives, and from that foundation, building ventures that will change the world. Clioh envisions influencing laws and establishing a healing center dedicated to trauma such as P.T.S.D.

Released within Stella Studios is the first step on this ambitious, compassionate journey. Join the movement and experience the transformative power of Clioh Starr's music.

Clioh Starr unveils "Wake (Keep Singing)," a fiercely resilient indie/alternative pop anthem forged in the crucible of personal hardship. Far more than a song, this track is a profound act of catharsis, charting an extraordinary journey from darkness towards light, fueled by the unwavering power of a mother's love.

The song's origins are deeply personal and challenging. "Wake (Keep Singing)" was born from the raw experience of escaping a toxic living situation that led directly to homelessness. While navigating this immense instability during pregnancy, Clioh Starr was haunted by nightmares about that toxic past. Despite the somber lyrical themes that reflect this period of suffering and emotional distress, the music itself embodies a powerful counter-narrative of strength and perseverance.

Heavily inspired by the raw emotion and soulful delivery of Amy Winehouse, Clioh Starr's vocals in "Wake (Keep Singing)" are both vulnerable and commanding, conveying the depth of the struggle while soaring with an undeniable sense of resilience. The musical landscape supporting this narrative is equally compelling and unique. A prominent, heavy bassline provides a solid, grounding force, while melodic piano and synths weave intricate textures throughout the track, creating a dynamic and engaging soundscape. The overall drive of the music stands in powerful contrast to the lyrical themes, embodying the act of "keeping singing" through pain as a path to survival and strength.

“Wake (Keep Singing)" encapsulates the pivotal turning point in Clioh Starr's life. Finding stability before the birth of her first child, Stella, became the ultimate motivation. Stella became the unexpected catalyst for all subsequent achievements. This profound connection was even present in dreams while pregnant, creating a beautiful counterpoint to the nightmares. The deep bond is further solidified by Clioh naming her music label, Stella Studios, after her daughter.

The song itself served as the cathartic vehicle through which Clioh processed trauma and found the strength to build a better life. In this context, the very act of creating and singing "Wake (Keep Singing)" was the process of healing and reclaiming power.

For listeners, "Wake (Keep Singing)" offers a deeply moving and relatable narrative of overcoming adversity. It speaks to the resilience of the human spirit, the transformative power of catharsis, and the strength found in love. Clioh Starr's "Wake (Keep Singing)" is more than just a song; it is a testament to survival, a celebration of the strength catalyzed by love, and a powerful declaration of finding peace and a better future. The artist's birth name, Caitlin, meaning pure or catharsis, perfectly encapsulates the transformative journey embedded within this remarkable track.
